💼 What You’ll Be Doing
 
  • Informs team of labor hours allocated for each project; ensures compliance with hours.
  • Distributes paperwork to delivery personnel to initiate loading for the next day's delivery.
  • Ensures product is properly loaded and unloaded so damage is not caused to the product or surrounding areas.
  • Oversees the care and general maintenance of company vehicles and rental vehicles (servicing and technical maintenance of vehicles to be done by others).
  • Understands fabricated products and how to accurately read shop drawings, ability to read blueprints and accurately read a tape measure.
  • Creates a manifest or packing list by writing descriptions using a numbered tag system to keep track of shipped items.
  • Meet deadlines with minimal supervision; majority of time is spent at job sites without immediate Manager/Supervisor being available.
  • Adheres to dress code requirements when at a Jobsite (long pants, shirt with sleeves, steel toe boots, safety glasses, hard hat, safety vest and/or shirt).
  • Maintain work area, organized and orderly, ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations.

  • Must possess a valid driver's license, a good driving record, and have the ability to travel and stay overnight if delivery requires.
  • You’re a natural self-starter who doesn’t wait to be told what to do—you jump in
  • Previous experience in driving commercial vehicles and/or moving heavy equipment and/or product is required.
  • Must be able to drive safely, skillfully and efficiently a 26',24' & 18' box truck, and a 1-ton pickup truck.

Job Details
  • 💰 Salary: $18.00 - $21.00 Hourly, commensurate with experience.
  • Job Type: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm (with overtime as needed).

⚙️ Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • Lifting - Employees may be required to lift weights up to 50 to 100 pounds on a regular basis. In the event a load weighs more than 50 pounds, team members are required to seek assistance from another team member before lifting and use proper lifting techniques.
  • Push/Pulling – Push material of various sizes and weights.
  • Stand/Walking – Must be able to stand approximately 100% of the work shift.
  • Stair Climbing – Must be able to carry or team carry 50lb. load up at least three flights of stairs.
  • Reaching - reach up to heights of 60 inches to position and retrieve needed materials.

Work Environment:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently work in outside weather conditions.
  • Noise level is usually quiet while in the office, or moderate to high when in the shop or field.
