Position Summary:
The Sr. Project Manager(s) are responsible for the overall management of the Project Management Team, ensuring the team consistently meets customer commitments while managing risk to protect the company’s bottom line. This role provides leadership, guidance, and oversight to Project Managers and support staff, supports strategic decision-making with the Director of Project Delivery, and drives process improvements to enhance team performance and project outcomes.

💼 What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Capable of fulfilling all duties of a Project Manager
  • Capable of managing a total project workload of $6 Million or more as needed
  • Capable of managing complex projects of $3 Million or more requiring advanced PM skills
  • Coordinates with Director of Project Delivery with assigning Project Managers to all new projects as needed.
  • Partner with Director of Project Delivery as point of contact between our subcontractor vendors to ensure we maintain a balanced workload between vendors and maintain a strong working relationship.
  • Work with and advise the Director of Project Delivery in various facets: forecasting, new customers, trends, projections, etc.
  • Actively participate in hiring, training, and developing staff effectively. Take corrective action with direct reports as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy; consults with the Director of Project Delivery and Human Resources, as appropriate.
  • Have a strong grasp of the Architectural Woodworking Institute standards (AWI); strong understanding of raw materials and fabrication methods.
  • Track processes, measure performance and assist in the formulation of process upgrade methods.
  • Maintain an open line of communication with Concepts in Millwork’s Accounting Department to keep updated on monthly billing trends.
  • Promote and maintain high quality communication and a teamwork environment with the Engineering, Purchasing, Production and Installation departments.
  • Attend weekly Project Manager and Production meetings.
  • Completes annual Performance Evaluations on direct reports.
  • Continuously enhance leadership competencies.
  • Customer Service oriented – Sr. Project Managers have constant interaction with customers, other Sr. PM's, PM’s and Superintendents to meet customer needs and achieve a profitable project.
  • Maintain work area, organized and orderly, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Support a high-performing team based on Concepts Core Values.

  • Possess a good driving record and have the ability to visit customers where required.
  • Minimum of 5 years millwork Project Management experience to include: field measurements, reviewing shop drawings and other project management skill from handoff to project completion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Prior leadership experience. 

Job Details

  • 💰 Salary: $90,000 to $110,000 salary, commensurate upon experience.
  • Job Type: Full Time. Shift, Mon- Fri, 7:00am - 4:00pm .(Additional hours as needed).
