Position Summary: The Safety Quality Manager is responsible for developing, monitoring and leading comprehensive safety and Quality programs to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local government regulations and that all products meet consistent standards.

💼 What You’ll Be Doing
  • Schedules, prepares, conducts and documents new employee safety training. Leads weekly personnel meetings to ensure compliance with all company, OSHA and site-specific training requirements.
  • Acts as a liaison for management with various safety agencies including county, state, and federal inspectors. Serves as primary point of contact during OSHA audits.
  • Professionally interacts with customer and/or General Contractor safety personnel to ensure job specific safety conditions are being satisfied.
  • Maintains the Safety and Health Guidelines, Field Safety Manual and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to ensure compliance.
  • Conducts both scheduled and unscheduled walk-throughs of the workplace (to include off-site job sites) on a regular basis to monitor safe work practices. Identifies and reports unsafe conditions and/or practices to the Director of Operations in order to be corrected as soon as possible. 
  • Creates Job Safety Analysis’ and Job Hazard Analysis’ for specific sites.
  • Leads workman’s compensation investigations following all employee injury or near miss incidents in the plant or on the job site(s). Ensures resulting decisions and/or recommendations are acted upon, to include modified duties and/or return to work requirements. Maintains copies of these reports for the company records.
  • Coordinates CPR and First Aid training with certified instructors when necessary.
  • Oversees the ordering and tracking of inventory levels for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), maintenance supplies and First Aid products.
  • Implementing Quality Control plans and methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment
  • Ensuring that products adhere to quality standards
  • Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data
  • Training and managing production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of goods
  • Tracking products through the manufacturing process to guarantee that each part of the process is correct
  • Performing detailed and recorded inspections of final products at the plant and work sites, so the products are up to industry and company standards
  • Lead the CAPA process for recurring issues focused on problem solving and root cause analysis
🌟 What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a Health & Safety role; manufacturing and/or construction background highly desired.
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in maintenance repair or equivalent education.
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a Quality leadership role; manufacturing and/or construction background highly desired
  • Professional safety and/or quality certification (i.e. CSP, CHST, QMS, etc.), strongly preferred.
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Current OSHA Certification
  • Licensed FCC operator and forklift
  • Working knowledge of Cost Containment Certification.
  • Working knowledge of CAPA process
  • Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline orientated environment.
  • Maintain work area, organized and orderly, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a driving record in accordance with company policy.
Job Details
  • 💰 Salary: $$85,000 - $115,000 Annually, commensurate with experience.
  • Job Type: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 6:00am-3:00pm (with the expectation of additional hours as required).

    • Lifting - Employee may be required to lift weights up to 50 pounds. In the event a load weighs more than 50 pounds, team members are required to seek assistance from another team member before lifting and use proper lifting techniques;

    • Stand/Walking – Must be able to stand approximately 100% of the work shift;
    • Reaching - reach up to heights of 60 inches to position and retrieve needed materials;
Work Environment: This role operates across office, plant, and active job site environments. The employee will work in a cubicle and/or office setting and in a temperature-controlled production facility with exposure to moving machinery and dust. The role also includes visits to construction sites, with varying conditions. Noise levels range from low to high; appropriate PPE is provided and required as applicable.
